Click-to-Call Google Ads: Increase CTR by 5 – 30%
Since the introduction of Pay-Per-Click advertising platforms like Google Adwords it has really revolutionised that way small business owners advertise. Allowing much more accurate performance based results and higher return on investment.
A few months back Google announced the full launch of a new mobile advertising format called Click-to-Call.
Click-To-Call: The model allows mobile consumers searching Google to click on the phone number in an ad to auto-dial the advertiser. In turn, the advertiser is charged the price of an AdWords click.
This is a big deal as it is now possible to drive phone leads from the Web rather than click-throughs to a business’s Web site.
The potential for consumers to connect direct with your business via a phone call when they browse the web on their mobile phone is huge, new statistics suggest that global mobile internet users will overtake fixed desktop internet users by 2015.
According to Surojit Chatterjee, Product Lead, Local Mobile Advertising, Google – click-through rates (“CTRs”) on these ads have been from “5 to 30 percent better” than other AdWords CTRs in mobile. Even the URLs in these ads get more clicks,
